This kitchen design incorporates a cathedral ceiling with wood beams which make this space feel more spacious yet warm and friendly. Open shelves on both sides of the range hood makes food prep feel more open and less crowded. The sink and dishwasher are located in the island making the distance bewteen the stove, sink and fridge shorter. An open bookcase at the end of the cabinet run faces the dining room making the transition more inviting. French doors open to the outside letting in lots of natural light.
