Game Stop
Here are three different concepts that redesign the Game Stop store experience from the ground up.
(1) "The Tournament Concept" features a small cafe front area with product on center fixtures and on the walls. A tournament inspired area in the back of the store creates community and encourages gamers to hang out at the store longer. Since most games are purchased online this creates a reason for gamers to come to the store. A two-sided service conunter can keep an eye on the front of the store and the back. A self-serve kiosk offers snacks and video purchases freeing up staff to work with customers answering questions and giving advice.
(2) "The Lounge Concept" divides the store into three distinct areas by gaming platform: PlayStation, Nintendo, and X Box. Each lounge has its own demo area incorporated into product shelving and comfortable seating. There is also a section for collectibles and another for hardware and gear.
(3) "The Refresh Concept" reorganizes the store into a fully functional self-service area at the front of the store and a section at the back of the store that feels like a 'members only' area and houses the coveted games and a standing demo kiosk.
